Waist is measured at navel height, hips at the widest point of the pelvis; if you fall between two sizes, choose the larger one. Macna publishes the short inseam from size 29 upwards: for our "28 Short" the measurement is not declared. What is COVEC®?
It is the high-performance fabric from which the Aramon is made. Macna describes it as being composed of different types of fibers woven together in a single layer, to obtain a single material that is very resistant to cuts, tears, bursts, and abrasion. Also according to Macna, a single-layer jean is more breathable than one reinforced only in critical areas.

What does "Class AA" of the EN 17092 standard mean?
EN 17092 is the European standard for protective motorcycle clothing and has five classes: AAA, AA, A, B, and C. AA is the second highest: above it is only the AAA of racing suits. Macna declares Class AA approval for the Aramon.

Are the protectors included in the price?
Yes, both. Macna states that both knees and hips are equipped with CE level 1 R.I.S.C.™ FX protectors, which are flexible, thin, and breathable. The knee protector is height-adjustable. There is nothing to buy separately.

Is the waist high?
Yes. Macna describes the feminine cut of the Aramon as high-waist. The photos show the two-button closure at the front.

Can it be machine washed?
Yes. Macna explicitly states this: thanks to the low "flex fatigue" of the COVEC® yarn — the loss of strength after repeated bending — the jeans can be machine washed, and Macna claims they last almost twice as long as jeans made of other materials.

What is the Belt Loop™?
It is the provision on the back of the waist: Macna describes it as a faux belt to which the Belt Loop™ of a Macna jacket can be attached, to prevent the jacket from riding up while riding and, especially, in the event of an accident.

What size should I take?
Sizes follow denim numbering, which does not correspond to actual waist circumference: measure yourself and compare with the table above, reported in centimeters and inches, and if you fall between two sizes, take the larger one. "Short" sizes have an inseam shortened to 71 cm (28.0 in) instead of 76 cm (29.9 in); Macna does not publish the measurement for "Long" sizes.
