On a jet helmet, the intercom is a different sport: without a chin guard, the normal microphone stays far from the mouth and only picks up wind. The Packtalk Bold/Black Half Helmet Kit (code SPPT0011) solves this: it is a mount with an extra-long boom microphone plus mounting hardware, designed for half helmets, open-face helmets, and demi-jet helmets — Cardo also indicates it for ski helmets and other non-motorcycle headwear.
⚠️ Three things to know before ordering:
🔴 1. SPEAKERS ARE NOT INCLUDED. Cardo explicitly states this: the package contains the base with the boom microphone and mounting hardware; you reuse the speakers from your Packtalk. If you also need speakers, look at the second helmet kits ACC00010 (JBL) or SRAK0039 (base). Contact us for more information: we prefer to tell you now.
🔴 2. Packtalk BOLD and BLACK only. Cardo indicates only these two models. If you have a Packtalk Pro or Edge, your code is ACC00022; if you have a Neo, it is ACC00013. The kits are not interchangeable.

Compatibility
It is an accessory for the helmet and for the intercom, not for the motorcycle. The helmet must be open: jet, demi-jet, half helmet (✗ full-face and closed modular, there you need the standard kit). The intercom must be a Packtalk Bold or Black. When in doubt, contact us for more information with the model of your helmet and unit.
Who it's perfect for
It's for those who ride in the city with a jet helmet and already have a Packtalk Bold or Black on their full-face helmet: you move the unit and take the speakers with you, without buying a second intercom. It is not, however, the choice for those starting from scratch: without speakers, you can't do anything. Contact us for more information and we will help you choose the right part.

Are speakers included?
No. Cardo states: the kit contains the base, boom microphone, and hardware. The speakers are reused from your Packtalk. If you also need them, see ACC00010 or SRAK0039.
Is it suitable for my Packtalk Edge?
No: this is only for Bold and Black. For Pro and Edge the code is ACC00022, for Pro/Edge/Neo the adapter ACC00013.
Is it suitable for a full-face helmet?
It's not designed for that: the extra-long boom is for open-face helmets. On a full-face helmet, the standard kit does a better job. Contact us for more information.
