The Kappa KV35 Double Visor Basic Jet Helmet in Glossy White is a demi-jet helmet from the 2026 Kappa collection, approved under ECE 22.06, the current regulation. It features a double visor—an external anti-scratch visor plus an internal retractable tinted sun visor—an outer shell made in two sizes to prevent the helmet from looking bulky on a small head, and flow-through ventilation with an upper air intake and a rear extractor. Removable and washable interiors, including cheek pads. It is the perfect city helmet: lightweight, quick to put on, and cool in summer. ⚠️ Important Notes – read before ordering
- Measure your head before ordering. Use a tailor's tape measure above the eyebrows, one finger above the ears, and at the widest point of the nape: that number in centimeters is your size. XS 54 · S 55 · M 57 · L 59 · XL 60 · XXL 61.
- If you are between two sizes, take the smaller one: the interior settles a few millimeters with use. If the fit remains loose, the cheek pads can be changed to a different size without replacing the helmet.
- The helmet should not rotate. With the strap closed, when moving your head, the skin of your forehead should move with the helmet.
- It is a demi-jet, not a full-face helmet: it does not have a chin bar and does not protect the chin in the event of a frontal fall.
- ECE 22.06 is the homologation currently mandatory for newly introduced helmets. 22.05 remains valid for use but can no longer be sold as new.

Does it have an internal sun visor?
Yes. The KV35 has a double visor: an external anti-scratch visor plus an internal tinted sun visor, which retracts into the shell when not needed.
How is it ventilated?
With flow-through ventilation: an openable and closable upper air intake lets air in at the forehead, and a rear extractor lets it out. In summer traffic, this is the difference between keeping the helmet on and taking it off at a traffic light.
What does "double shell" mean?
It means that the outer shell is not a single size for all: Kappa produces it in two sizes and combines them with the interior sizes. An XS is not an XXL with more padding inside—it's a smaller, lighter helmet with proper proportions.
Are the cheek pads removable?
Yes. The liner and cheek pads are removable and washable. They can also be replaced with cheek pads of a different thickness to tighten or loosen the fit without changing the helmet.
Is it a full-face or modular helmet?
