The original Piaggio CM088401 electronic ignition control unit is the CDI device factory-installed on Piaggio and Vespa 50 cc 4-stroke 4-valve engines. This electronic unit manages the ignition timing and spark plug spark in synergy with the ignition coil: in case of failure, the engine may not start, idle poorly, or lose the spark completely. OEM part number CM088401, compatible with Piaggio Fly 50 4T 4V, Vespa LX 50, Vespa S 50 College, Vespa Primavera 50 and Vespa Sprint 50 in 4T 4V Euro 2 versions.
