Frequently Asked Questions

Does it have a visor?
No. The Twist 3 is an off-road helmet: instead of a visor, it has a removable peak and is used with motocross goggles, which are not included and must be purchased separately. This is the typical configuration for motocross and enduro helmets, including those used in racing.

What is its homologation?
The Twist 3 Dynasty is ECE 22.06 homologated, as stated by Airoh in the model's technical datasheet. The homologation code and number can be found on the label sewn into the chin strap, which closes with the double D-ring system typical of off-road helmets.

How much does it weigh and what is it made of?
The shell is made of HRT thermoplastic and is produced in two external sizes: the first for XS, S, and M, the second for L, XL, and XXL. The weight declared by Airoh starts from 1,330 grams, with a tolerance of ±50 g. Ventilation has been optimized in the Airoh wind tunnel.

What size should I choose?
Measure your head circumference one centimeter above your eyebrows. In the Airoh Twist 3 guide, XS is 53-54 cm, S is 55-56, M is 57-58, L is 59-60, XL is 61-62, and XXL is 63 cm, a single size. All six sizes are available in this listing.

Can an intercom be mounted?
Yes. The Twist 3 is prepared for Airoh AWC4 and AWC2 intercoms, which are sold separately and not included in the package. The interior is removable, washable, and hypoallergenic, and Airoh's AEFR system allows for quick removal of cheek pads in the event of a rescue after a fall.

Can the peak be removed or replaced?
Yes. The peak is removable and secured with screws; Airoh stocks peaks for different graphics, the screw kit, and a peak extension in their catalog. Rear spoilers and chin guard vent covers are also available as original spare parts in multiple colors.

Who is it perfect for?

The Twist 3 is designed for those who ride off-road, on cross tracks, or on enduro trails: shell in two sizes proportional to the size, abundant ventilation for standing riding, removable peak, and intercom readiness. The Dynasty Orange/Matte Grey graphic is matte anthracite grey and orange.
