❓ Which helmet does this screw kit fit?

The Airoh Aviator 3. Airoh specifies this kit only for that model, referring to the extended peak: the pitch and the mounting housing vary from model to model. The helmet name is printed on the homologation label sewn onto the strap.

❓ Are they suitable for the Aviator 2.2, 2.3, or ACE?

No. For the Aviator ACE, 2.1, and 2.2, Airoh uses a different screw kit with a different code: these are specifically for the Aviator 3. Send us the exact model and we will provide you with the correct code.

❓ How many screws are in the kit?

Three are shown in the product photo. Airoh does not publish the exact contents of the package, so we cannot guarantee a different quantity than what is visible: if you require a specific number, please ask us before ordering.

❓ Are they metal screws?

No: they are plastic screws, as shown in the photo. This is the manufacturer's preferred solution, as in the event of a fall, the screw will break before the peak or the helmet shell.

❓ What color are they?

In the product photo, they are clear translucent plastic. Airoh lists a black finish for this kit on their website, and white screws for the Aviator 3 also exist on the market: if the color is essential for you, contact us before ordering so we can check our current warehouse stock.

❓ Is this an original spare part?

Yes: original Airoh equipment replacement part, factory code 6924 and EAN 8029243323464. This is not a generic hardware store item.

❓ How are they replaced?

Remove the peak by unscrewing the old screws and reattach it with the new ones in the same housing, tightening by hand without forcing: they are plastic and only need to be tightened enough to keep the peak firm.
