Size guide

Measure the head circumference approximately 1 cm above the eyebrows, at the widest point. The ✔ indicates the sizes we sell: all six are available for this helmet.

Who is it perfect for?

The Helyos is the right jet helmet for those moving around the city on scooters or naked bikes who want a lightweight, ventilated helmet that is comfortable to wear even with glasses. The internal sun visor is useful daily in sunny traffic, and with the Custom Kit, you can remove the visor on hot days and ride with goggles or sunglasses. The matt black finish is monochromatic and clean, easy to match with any motorcycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

What homologation does this jet helmet have?
The Airoh Helyos is ECE 22.06 homologated, the latest European standard for motorcycle helmets. It can be used on the road in Italy and other countries that recognize European homologation, on scooters and motorcycles.

What material is the shell made of and how many sizes are there?
The shell is made of HRT (High Resistant Thermoplastic) and is produced in three outer sizes: the first for XS and S, the second for M, and the third for L, XL, and XXL. The declared weight starts from 1,350 g with a tolerance of ±50 g.

Does it have an internal sun visor?
Yes. The Helyos features the Sun Screen Visor, a retractable internal sun visor that can be activated with a side lever without taking off the helmet. This is why this jet helmet performs well even during hours when the sun is low.

What is the Custom Kit included in the box?
The Custom Kit is the set of covers provided by Airoh that allows the Helyos to be used without the long visor, sealing the side attachments. It is designed to transform the helmet into an open jet style, suitable for use with goggles or a mask.

What size should I get?
Measure your head circumference about a centimeter above your eyebrows and compare it with the table above. Note: for the Helyos, L corresponds to 59 cm, XL to 60 cm, and XXL to 61 cm — these are individual sizes, not ranges as on other models. This is the most frequent mistake with this helmet.

Can I install an intercom?
Yes, the helmet is ready for Airoh AWC4 and AWC2 intercoms, which are sold separately. Housing for the speakers is already integrated into the liners, so installation does not require any modifications to the shell or the padding.
