Frequently Asked Questions
Does it have a visor?
No. The Twist 3 is an off-road helmet: instead of a visor, it has a removable peak and is used with cross goggles, which are not included and must be purchased separately. This is the typical configuration for motocross and enduro helmets, including those used in racing.
What is the approval rating?
The Twist 3 Color is ECE 22.06 approved, as stated by Airoh in the model's technical sheet. The approval code and number can be found on the label sewn into the chin strap, which fastens with the double-D ring system typical of off-road helmets.
How much does it weigh and what is it made of?
The shell is made of HRT thermoplastic and is produced in two external sizes: the first for XS, S, and M, the second for L, XL, and XXL. The weight declared by Airoh starts at 1,330 grams, with a tolerance of ±50 g. Ventilation has been optimized in the Airoh wind tunnel.
What size should I choose?
Measure your head circumference one centimeter above the eyebrows. In the Airoh Twist 3 guide, XS is 53-54 cm, S is 55-56, M is 57-58, L is 59-60, XL is 61-62, and XXL is 63 cm, a single measurement. All six sizes are available in this listing.
Can an intercom be installed?
Yes. The Twist 3 is ready for Airoh AWC4 and AWC2 intercoms, which are sold separately and not included in the box. The interior is removable, washable, and hypoallergenic, and Airoh's AEFR system allows for quick removal of the cheek pads in case of emergency after a fall.
Can the peak be removed or changed?
Yes. The peak is removable and is fixed with screws; Airoh maintains the peaks for different graphics, the screw kit, and a peak extension in its catalog. Rear spoilers and chin guard vent covers are also available as original spare parts in multiple colors.
Who is it perfect for?
The Twist 3 is designed for off-road riders, cross track users, or enduro trails: shell in two sizes proportional to the fit, generous ventilation for standing riding, removable peak, and intercom preparation. The Matte Black Color graphic is matte black.
