Does it work on my Shoei?
Only if it is a GT-Air 3, a Neotec 3, or a J-Cruise 3. Previous generations (GT-Air 2, Neotec 2, J-Cruise 2) have a different slot and are not compatible. If in doubt, write down the exact model printed under the shell and we will confirm it for you.

What is the difference with the twenty-euro Shoei adapter?
The adapter is just a mount: it is used to attach a Packtalk Edge, Neo, or Custom that you already own to a Shoei Gen 3 helmet. The Packtalk-S is, instead, the complete intercom, designed to fit inside the helmet's slot. Two different products with different prices.

Does it connect to my friends' Packtalks?
Yes. The Packtalk-S uses the same second-generation DMC mesh network as the Packtalk Edge, Neo, and Pro: they can group together up to 15 riders. With intercoms from other brands, the connection is made via Bluetooth.

Is the audio worse because it is integrated?
