Frequently Asked Questions
What is the fit of Airoh helmets?
Airoh primarily uses an intermediate oval fit, suitable for most Italian and European heads. Those with very round or very long heads may find it tight at the sides or on the forehead: in that case, it is advisable to try it on in person or order from a seller who accepts returns if the fit is unsuitable.
What is the difference between ECE 22.05 and ECE 22.06?
22.06 is the new European approval in force from January 2024: it adds oblique impact tests (rotation risk), impacts on multiple points of the shell, and verification of visors and accessories. A 22.06 helmet passes more safety tests than a 22.05. From 2024 in Italy, only 22.06 can be sold (remaining 22.05 helmets are still legal for use).
Are Airoh helmets intercom ready?
Almost all Airoh full-face, modular, and jet models have internal compartments for speakers and microphone passage for Bluetooth intercom (Cardo, Interphone Cellular Line). Cross helmets and some entry-level sport models may not have the predisposition: check the technical sheet.
