Measure your head circumference about 1 cm above the eyebrows, at the widest point. The ✔ indicates the sizes we sell: all six are available for this helmet.
⚠️ Important notes:
• Pay attention to the size: for the Helyos, L is 59 cm, XL is 60 cm, and XXL is 61 cm; these are individual measurements, not ranges. If your measurement is 62 cm or more, this model is not for you.
• Helyos is not Helios. The Helios is the previous series and uses different spare parts: the visor, side plates, and interior linings are not interchangeable between the two.
• A jet helmet does not provide chin protection: it is designed for urban and suburban use.
• A Custom Kit is included in the package for using the helmet without the visor. The intercom is not included.
• Airoh does not claim anti-fog treatment or Pinlock compatibility for this model: we prefer not to attribute features that the manufacturer does not specify in writing.

Who is it perfect for?
The Helyos is the right jet helmet for those who commute in the city on scooters or naked bikes and want a lightweight, well-ventilated helmet that is comfortable to wear even with glasses. The internal sun visor is useful for daily traffic facing the sun, and the Custom Kit allows you to remove the visor on hot days to ride with goggles or sunglasses. The glossy dark grey is the deepest shade in the Color range—noticeably more saturated than the Concrete Grey in the same series—and the glossy finish highlights its surfaces: it is the alternative to black for those who want something less absolute without giving up a dark helmet.

Frequently asked questions
What homologation does this jet helmet have?
The Airoh Helyos is ECE 22.06 homologated, the latest European standard for motorcycle helmets. It can be used on the road in Italy and other countries that recognize European homologation, on both scooters and motorcycles.
What material is the shell made of, and how many sizes are there?
The shell is made of HRT (High Resistant Thermoplastic) and is produced in three external sizes: the first for XS and S, the second for M, and the third for L, XL, and XXL. The declared weight starts from 1,350 g with a tolerance of ±50 g.
Does it have an internal sun visor?
Yes. The Helyos features the Sun Screen Visor, a retractable internal sun visor that can be activated via a side lever without removing the helmet. This is why this jet helmet works well even during low-sun hours.
What is the Custom Kit included in the package?
The Custom Kit is a set of covers provided by Airoh that allows the Helyos to be used without the long visor by sealing the side attachments. It is used to transform the helmet into an open-style modern classic jet to be paired with goggles or a mask.
What size should I choose?
Measure your head circumference about a centimeter above your eyebrows and compare it with the table above. Attention: for the Helyos, L corresponds to 59 cm, XL to 60 cm, and XXL to 61 cm—these are single measurements, not ranges as in other models. This is the most frequent mistake with this helmet.
Can I install an intercom?
Yes, the helmet is ready for Airoh AWC4 and AWC2 intercoms, which are sold separately. The speaker housings are already integrated into the liner, so installation does not require modifications to the shell or the padding.
