Frequently Asked Questions
What is its homologation?
The 55.1 Zephir is ECE 22.06 homologated as a full-face helmet: the chin guard is fixed and protects the face, making it suitable for city use, highways, and traveling. It remains closed even when the visor is lifted for ventilation. This is the European standard currently in force for helmets sold today.
Is the Pinlock lens included?
Yes. Givi states the anti-scratch visor is prepared for the anti-fog Pinlock lens, and the Pinlock lens is included in the box. It mounts inside the visor and reduces fogging in cold and rainy conditions. As a replacement, the lens is Givi code Z2851R.
What size should I choose?
For the 55.1, Givi indicates: XS 54 cm, S 56, M 58, L 60, XL 61, and XXL 63. Measure your head circumference with a tape measure, one finger above your eyebrows, and choose the closest size. If you are between two sizes, contact us before ordering, and we will assist you.

How much does it weigh?
Givi declares 1,550 or 1,650 grams depending on the shell size, with a tolerance of 50 grams. This is the weight of a thermoplastic full-face helmet with an internal sun visor. The package we ship, including the helmet and box, weighs approximately 2.10 kilograms.
