Is the single pack enough to talk to a passenger?
No. The Single pack contains only one unit, so it equips only one helmet. For rider-to-passenger or bike-to-bike communication, two units are required: you can buy two Single packs or the DUO pack, which arrives factory-paired and saves you the pairing procedure.
How long does the Cardo Spirit battery actually last?
Cardo claims 10 hours of continuous talk time and about 10 days of standby. In real use, consumption depends on volume and how long the intercom stays active. A full charge takes about 2 hours, but 20 minutes is enough to recover 2 hours of battery life: convenient during a coffee break.
Can it be used in the rain?
Yes. The Cardo Spirit is IP65 certified, meaning it is protected against dust and water jets. It is designed to be left on the helmet all year round. It is not designed for immersion, however: avoid submerging it and dry it before charging.
Does it work with an intercom from another brand?
