The Sella Europa SE8080 floor mat covers the entire cabin floor of the Piaggio Ape 50. It is a single piece of black rubber, shaped to fit the floor: two grid-patterned sections where the feet rest, fine ridging across the rest of the surface, and four eyelets for the fastening points (observed from product photographs).
⚠️ This is an aftermarket replacement part, not original Piaggio. It is produced by Nuova Sella Europa, an Italian company specializing in seats and spare parts for motorcycles and scooters. It is made to the original shape but does not bear the Piaggio brand: it is the choice for those who want to restore the floor without paying for a dealership replacement part.

When to replace it
When the grid underfoot has worn down and the rubber has become smooth – with wet boots, your foot will slip on the pedal, and that's not just an aesthetic issue. Or when the mat has split at the corners and water seeps underneath: from there, the metal floor starts to rust, and redoing a floor costs twenty times more than a mat. On a working Ape, it's one of the few replacement parts that pays for itself.
