Frequently Asked Questions
Which intercoms is it compatible with?
Cardo presents it as the Packtalk Pro/Edge Half Helmet Kit: it is dedicated to the Packtalk Pro and Packtalk Edge, which use the Air Mount cradle. For the Packtalk Neo, Cardo specifies the ACC00013 adapter. If you are not sure about your model, contact us for further information, including the serial number printed on the unit.
Which helmets is it suitable for?
Cardo recommends it for riders with open-face or half helmets. These helmets lack a chin bar, so a boom microphone is required to position the capsule in front of the mouth: in this kit, it comes pre-installed on the Air Mount cradle. The microphone is flexible and can be oriented towards the mouth.
What is in the package?
Cardo lists an integrated Air Mount cradle, a shorter speaker cable, and a pre-installed boom microphone. The speakers are not among the components listed for this kit, and the intercom is not included. If you also need speakers, contact us for further information and we will point you to the appropriate Cardo part number.
What is the difference compared to the ACC00013 adapter?
The ACC00022 is a complete kit with an integrated Air Mount cradle, a shorter speaker cable, and a pre-installed boom microphone, for Packtalk Pro and Edge. The ACC00013 is a more basic adapter, featuring an adhesive plate and a boom microphone, and Cardo also lists it for the Packtalk Neo and Custom.
How do you mount it?
The Air Mount cradle with the pre-installed boom microphone attaches to the helmet, then the speakers are connected to the cable, and the Packtalk Pro or Edge unit is clicked into place. Cardo describes it as a complete and easy-to-use kit: just click it on and go. If you have any doubts about your helmet, contact us for further information.
Is this an original Cardo accessory?
Yes. Code ACC00022 is an original Cardo Systems accessory, brand new, in Cardo packaging with the text «Original Cardo Accessory». Moon Bike S.r.l. ships it from Italy with an invoice and a 2-year warranty. For any questions regarding your intercom, contact us for further information.
