For those who want a modular helmet with a touch of color, the Explore graphic adds fluorescent yellow and gray stripes on matte black.

Frequently asked questions

What does dual P/J homologation mean?
It means the helmet is homologated in two configurations: P with the chin guard closed, like a full-face helmet, and J with the chin guard raised, like an open-face helmet. You can therefore legally ride while open, which is not permitted on a P-only homologated modular helmet. ECE 22.05 homologation.

Why does it cost so little?
Because the first-generation Mathisse has been removed from the Airoh catalog, replaced in the range by the Mathisse II, and the Explore graphic is no longer produced: this is one of the last pieces in stock, at a clearance price. The helmet is, however, new, boxed, and covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

Is the Pinlock included?
Yes: the Pinlock 70 lens is in the box and the visor is already prepared to mount it. It is the internal lens that removes fogging in cold and humidity: it is applied once, before the first winter rides.

Can I mount an intercom?
Yes, the helmet is Bluetooth-Ready, meaning it is prepared to house a communication system. The intercom is not included and must be purchased separately. On a modular helmet, it is advisable to choose a kit with a microphone that does not hinder the rotation of the chin guard.

Are spare parts still available?
Yes: Airoh still keeps spare parts for the first-generation Mathisse in the catalog, including clear, smoke, and mirrored visors, Stop Wind, liners, and air vents. The replacement chin guard is available in solid colors (matte black, matte bronze, glossy white), not in the Explore graphic.

Is M my size and how much does it weigh?
M is for a head circumference of 57-58 cm: measure it with a tailor's tape measure just above your eyebrows and, if you are between two sizes, choose the larger one. It is the only size of this graphic we have. M uses the first of the two shells. The manufacturer declares a weight starting from 1,675 g, with a tolerance of 50 g; when shipped, including packaging, we estimate about 2.13 kg.
