Frequently asked questions

What is its homologation and how safe is it?
The Valor is ECE 22.05 homologated and in independent SHARP tests it obtained 5 out of 5 stars, the maximum score. The shell is made of HRT thermoplastic and is produced in two sizes, so the XL size also has a shell proportionate to the head.

Is the Pinlock lens included?
No: the visor is prepared for a Pinlock lens, but the lens is not in the box and must be purchased separately with Airoh code 6433. According to Airoh, the box includes the Stop Wind, the wind guard to be mounted under the chin guard to prevent air from entering from below.

Why is it so cheap?
Because the Valor is discontinued: the solid gloss white version is no longer for sale on the Airoh website and the model does not appear in the 2027 price list. The last piece in size XL is on clearance, well below the list price of €149.99. It is new and original Airoh, made in Italy, and leaves from Italy with an invoice.

Are spare parts still available?
Yes, Airoh keeps spare parts for the Valor in the catalog: the clear visor 5846V and dark smoke 05ST7FS, the Pinlock lens 6433, the visor plate kit 6432, the size XL liner 5007VALOR0XL, and the Stop Wind 5510VAL0000. This way, the helmet remains usable for a long time with original parts.

How is the visor and how does it close?
The visor is a racing type, with extra-wide vision, resistant to UV rays and scratches, with a locking system and an anti-fog position; it can be removed without tools. The strap has a micrometric buckle, which engages with clicks and adjusts to the size of the neck.

Which size should I choose and how much does it weigh?
Measure the circumference of your head just above the eyebrows, at the widest point: this listing is for size XL, for 61-62 cm, with the second size shell. The Valor weighs 1,400 g ±50 g according to Airoh; including the box, it arrives at approximately 1.85 kg.
