Shipping notice: truck drivers' strike in Italy
Updated 19/10/2026
Since 16 October, truck drivers protesting against high diesel prices have been blocking roads and ports in Southern Italy (Campania, Calabria, Sicily, Puglia, Basilicata), and the protest could spread to the rest of the country. The strike affects all our shipments, in Italy and abroad: Poste Italiane is currently not collecting parcels, while BRT and DHL are collecting as usual but deliveries may be delayed in some areas.
- Italy we ship with BRT and DHL · possible delivery delays
- European Union for now we ship with DHL only · possible delays
- Non-EU countries (customs) shipments temporarily suspended: they will leave as soon as Poste Italiane resumes collections
We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Measure your head circumference about 1 cm above the eyebrows, at the widest point. The ✔ indicates the sizes we stock: we carry all six for this helmet.
⚠️ Important Notes:
• Check the size carefully: for the Helyos, L is 59 cm, XL is 60 cm, and XXL is 61 cm; these are specific measurements, not ranges. If your measurement is 62 cm or more, this model is not for you.
• Helyos is not Helios. Helios is the previous series and uses different spare parts; the visor, plates, and liners are not interchangeable between the two.
• The jet helmet does not protect the chin: it is designed for urban and extra-urban use.
• The Custom Kit for using the helmet without the visor is included in the package. The intercom is not included.
• Airoh does not declare anti-fog treatment or Pinlock-readiness for this model: we prefer not to list features that are not explicitly stated by the manufacturer.

Perfect for
The Helyos is the right jet helmet for those commuting in the city on scooters or naked bikes who want a lightweight, ventilated, and comfortable helmet that can be worn with glasses. The internal sun visor is essential for daily traffic in low sunlight, and with the Custom Kit, you can remove the visor on hot days to ride with goggles or sunglasses. The matt military green finish is a solid, desaturated color with a military aesthetic that reduces glare and pairs perfectly with dark-toned scooters, naked bikes, beige colors, and leather accessories: a great alternative to black for those who find it too common.

Frequently Asked Questions
What homologation does this jet helmet have?
The Airoh Helyos is ECE 22.06 homologated, the latest European standard for motorcycle helmets. It is road-legal in Italy and other countries that recognize European homologation, for use on scooters and motorcycles.
What material is the shell made of and how many sizes are there?
The shell is made of HRT (High Resistant Thermoplastic) and is produced in three outer sizes: the first for XS and S, the second for M, and the third for L, XL, and XXL. The declared weight starts from 1,350 g with a ±50 g tolerance.
Does it have an internal sun visor?
Yes. The Helyos is equipped with a Sun Screen Visor, a retractable internal sun visor operated by a side lever without removing the helmet. This is why this jet helmet performs well even during hours of low sunlight.
What is the Custom Kit included in the box?
The Custom Kit is a set of covers provided by Airoh that allows you to use the Helyos without the long visor by covering the side mounts. It transforms the helmet into an open jet style, perfect for combining with glasses or goggles.
What size should I choose?
Measure your head circumference about one centimeter above the eyebrows and compare it with the table above. Note: for the Helyos, L corresponds to 59 cm, XL to 60 cm, and XXL to 61 cm — these are single sizes, not ranges as in other models. This is the most common mistake with this helmet.
Can I install an intercom?
Yes, the helmet is ready for Airoh AWC4 and AWC2 intercoms, sold separately. Speaker cutouts are already integrated into the interior, so installation does not require any modifications to the shell or liners.
