Is the Kappa rack the same as Givi?
Monokey Kappa and Monokey Givi are the same system (the two brands belong to the Givi S.p.A. group). A Kappa rack is compatible with Givi Monokey cases and vice versa, provided that the rack code is the one specified for your motorcycle. Always check the specific code before ordering.
Do I have to install it myself or do I need a mechanic?
Many racks can be installed with standard Allen keys in half an hour. If you are not familiar with mechanics, some models require removing the tail fairing or the original passenger brackets: in that case, it is advisable to have it installed in a workshop. Ask the retailer if there are specific screw kits to purchase separately.
Does the rack alter the aesthetic when the cases are not mounted?
