The Kappa K528 rear rack is the specific support for the Suzuki DL 1000 V-Strom (2002–2011) and the Kawasaki KLV 1000 (2004–2008). It comes complete with a MONOKEY® plate: once mounted on the motorbike, it allows you to attach and detach the top case in a few seconds, without having to purchase the plate separately. Original Kappa spare part (Givi S.p.A. group).

Is the plate included?
Yes. The K528 comes complete with the MONOKEY® plate: you do not need to purchase it separately.
Which motorbikes does it fit?
The Suzuki DL 1000 V-Strom from 2002 to 2011 and the Kawasaki KLV 1000 from 2004 to 2008. It is a specific rack: it is not compatible with other models or years.
Is the top case included?
No. The MONOKEY® top case or pannier (Kappa or Givi) must be purchased separately.
Can I use it with a Monolock top case?
No: the K528 mounts a MONOKEY® plate, so it requires a Monokey top case. Monolock top cases have a different attachment system.
Is it suitable for the newer V-Strom 1000?
No. The compatibility confirmed by the Kappa price list is the DL 1000 V-Strom 2002–2011. For later versions, a different rack is needed: contact us indicating the exact year of your motorbike.
