Frequently Asked Questions

Does it have a visor?
No. The Twist 3 is an off-road helmet: instead of a visor, it has a removable peak and is used with motocross goggles, which are not included and must be purchased separately. This is the typical configuration for motocross and enduro helmets, including those used in competitions.

What is its approval?
The Twist 3 Rainbow is ECE 22.06 approved, as stated by Airoh in the model's technical sheet. The approval code and number can be found on the label sewn into the chin strap, which fastens with the double D-ring system typical of off-road helmets.

How much does it weigh and what is it made of?
The shell is made of HRT thermoplastic and is produced in two external sizes: the first for XS, S and M, the second for L, XL and XXL. The weight declared by Airoh starts at 1,330 grams, with a tolerance of ±50 g. Ventilation has been optimized in the Airoh wind tunnel.

Which size should I choose?
Measure your head circumference one centimetre above your eyebrows. In the Airoh Twist 3 guide, XS is 53-54 cm, S 55-56, M 57-58, L 59-60, XL 61-62 and XXL is 63 cm, a single size. All six sizes are available in this listing.

Can an intercom be installed?
Yes. The Twist 3 is prepared for Airoh AWC4 and AWC2 intercoms, which are sold separately and not included in the box. The liners are removable, washable and hypoallergenic, and Airoh's AEFR system allows for quick removal of the cheek pads in the event of an emergency after a fall.

Can the peak be removed or changed?
Yes. The peak is removable and fixed with screws; Airoh includes peaks for the various graphics, the screw kit and a peak extension in its catalogue. Rear spoilers and chin vent covers are also available as original spare parts in multiple colours.

Perfect for

The Twist 3 is designed for those who ride off-road, on cross tracks or enduro trails: shell in two sizes proportionate to the fit, abundant ventilation for standing riding, removable peak and intercom preparation. The Rainbow White Multicolour Glossy graphic features white with a multicolour violet, yellow, orange and black glossy finish.
