What does 5 SHARP stars mean?
SHARP is the helmet rating program of the British Department for Transport: it buys helmets in stores and subjects them to more severe impact tests than the minimum required for homologation, assigning 1 to 5 stars. The Spark 2 achieved 5 out of 5 stars. It is an independent rating, which complements and does not replace ECE 22.06 homologation.

Is the Pinlock included or does it need to be purchased separately?
It is included: in the box, you will find the Pinlock® 70 MaxVision lens, the extended field of vision version. Along with the helmet, the double Stop Wind (summer and winter) and the removable nose guard are also included.

Does it have an internal sun visor?
No. Airoh does not declare a sun visor on the Spark 2: there is only the external, extra-wide, scratch-resistant, and anti-UV visor. If you are looking for an internal sun visor in the Airoh range, look at the Mathisse II or the Helyos.

How much does it weigh and what material is it made of?
The shell is made of HRT thermoplastic (High Resistant Thermoplastic) and is produced in two external sizes: the 1st for XS, S, and M, the 2nd for L, XL, and XXL. The declared weight starts from 1,590 g with a tolerance of ±50 g.

Can I install an intercom on it?
Yes. The helmet is pre-fitted for Airoh AWC4 and AWC2 systems, which are installed in the pre-made slots in the interior. The intercom is sold separately.

What is the ATVR system?
ATVR stands for Airoh Tool-less Visor Removal: the visor can be removed and reattached without tools, with a single gesture, for cleaning or replacing it with a smoked one. The visor also has an intermediate anti-fog position and a locking system when closed.

What size should I get?
Measure your head circumference approximately one centimeter above your eyebrows and compare it with the table above: sizes range from XS (53-54 cm) to XXL (63 cm). If you are exactly between two sizes, it is advisable to choose the larger one, as the interior will settle with use.

What is the difference between this graphic and the other Spark 2 graphics?
No technical difference: shell, features, weight, homologation, and SHARP rating are the same across the entire Spark 2 range. The graphics – in this case, Lively White Multicolored – and the product code SP2L38 change. The solid-color Color versions have a lower price list than the graphic versions.
