Shipping notice: truck drivers' strike in Italy

Since 16 October, truck drivers protesting against high diesel prices have been blocking roads and ports in Southern Italy (Campania, Calabria, Sicily, Puglia, Basilicata), and the protest could spread to the rest of the country. The strike affects all our shipments, in Italy and abroad: Poste Italiane is currently not collecting parcels, while BRT and DHL are collecting as usual but deliveries may be delayed in some areas.

The Piaggio CM060208 right-hand rearview mirror is the original Piaggio Group spare part for Hexagon scooters. It features a single-piece black body and stem, a metal threaded stud at the base, and a conical support washer: it screws in place of the original with no adapters required (as observed from the product photographs).
🔄 The left-hand version is part number CM060207. The right and left sides are not the same mirrored part: they are two distinct part numbers, both in stock and with the same application. If you need both, please purchase CM060208 + CM060207.

Is this the right or left one?
It is the right one. From the rider's seat, it is the one on your right. The left-hand version is part number CM060207.
Can I mount the right one in place of the left one?
No. They are not the same piece just flipped: the arm shape is different, and the thread may have the opposite orientation. Order the code for the side you need.
Are nuts, locknuts, or adapters included?
No: only the mirror itself is supplied, with its threaded stud and washer. Any existing locknuts should be reused.
Do I need a special tool to mount it?
No. Unscrew the old one, screw in the new one, and adjust. If the old one is seized by rust, a bit of penetrating oil and a wrench on the stud will do the trick.
Is the mirror adjustable?
Yes, by hand: it is oriented by rotating the arm on the mount until you can see the lane.
Should I change the left one too?
Only if it is damaged. The two sides are independent: there is no requirement to replace both, although a matching pair looks neater.
