Shipping notice: truck drivers' strike in Italy

Since 16 October, truck drivers protesting against high diesel prices have been blocking roads and ports in Southern Italy (Campania, Calabria, Sicily, Puglia, Basilicata), and the protest could spread to the rest of the country. The strike affects all our shipments, in Italy and abroad: Poste Italiane is currently not collecting parcels, while BRT and DHL are collecting as usual but deliveries may be delayed in some areas.

The Piaggio PJ is the standard demi-jet helmet from the Pontedera manufacturer, shown here in gloss white. It features a wide, flip-up clear visor that covers the entire face and a retractable dark sun visor that can be lowered when needed. It has an ABS shell, removable and washable interior, and a chin strap with a quick-release lever. ECE 22.05 homologation. Available in sizes XS, M, and L.

What's the difference between a demi-jet and a regular jet helmet?
A demi-jet has a shorter, lighter shell and a wide visor that covers the face. It's the typical helmet for urban scooter riding: quick to put on and take off, and takes up little space under the seat.
Does it have a sun visor?
Yes. In addition to the flip-up clear visor, there is a retractable dark sun visor that lowers from inside the shell when the sun is bothersome.
What homologation does it have?
It is ECE 22.05 homologated, the European homologation declared by the manufacturer for this model. The helmet is new, in original packaging.
What material is the shell made of?
It's made of ABS, the most commonly used thermoplastic for standard helmets: impact-resistant and inexpensive to replace in case of a fall.
Does white get dirty easily?
The shell is gloss white: dust is more visible than on a dark helmet, but it can be cleaned with a damp soft cloth. No solvents or alcohol should be used on the paint.
Can the interior be removed and washed?
Yes, the internal lining is removable, breathable, and washable: it can be detached and washed at the end of the season without affecting the shell.
