What is its homologation?
The Matryx Color is ECE 22.06 homologated, as stated by Airoh in the model's technical sheet. The homologation code and number can be read on the label stitched into the chin strap, which closes with the double D-ring system, the same used on track helmets.
Are the Pinlock and sun visor included?
Yes. The box contains the Pinlock 120 XLT lens to be mounted inside the visor, and the helmet features an internal sun visor, also available as an original spare part. Inside the box, you will also find the double wind deflector for the chin guard, for summer and winter, and the removable nose guard.
How much does it weigh and what is it made of?
The shell is made of carbon fiber composite and is produced in two external sizes: the first for XS, S, and M, the second for L, XL, and XXL. The weight declared by Airoh starts at 1,500 grams, with a tolerance of ±50 g.
Which size should I choose?
Measure your head circumference one centimeter above the eyebrows. In the Airoh Matryx guide, XS is 53-54 cm, S is 55-56, M is 57-58, L is 59-60, XL is 61-62, and XXL is 63 cm. All six sizes are available in this listing.
Can an intercom be mounted?
Yes. The Matryx is prepared for the Airoh AWC4 and AWC2 intercoms, which are sold separately and not included in the package. The liners are made of Coolmax fabric, removable, washable, and hypoallergenic, so they can be easily taken out for hand washing and then reinstalled without any difficulty.
How does the visor work?
The visor has an extra-wide field of vision and the A3S system, Airoh's automatic anti-fog. It can be removed without tools thanks to the ATVR system, features a central locking system when closed, and is treated against UV rays and scratches.
