Some items are purely lifestyle, while others—hoodies with aramid reinforcements and protectors—are full-fledged riding gear. Lifestyle item or riding gear?
This is the most important distinction in this category. A t-shirt or a cap is a lifestyle item: you wear it before and after riding, not while on the bike. A hoodie with aramid reinforcements and CE protectors on shoulders and elbows, however, is riding gear that looks like a hoodie. On each product page, we always state which protections are included: if none are listed, the item does not offer protection.
Sizes
Casual items follow everyday sizing. Items with protectors, however, should be bought to fit more snugly, because the protectors must remain over the shoulder and elbow even when moving. Each product page includes the official manufacturer's size chart, also converted to inches.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does a motorcycle hoodie really protect?
Those with aramid reinforcements and CE protectors do, in the areas where the protectors are mounted. A normal hoodie with a brand logo does not: it's just an item of clothing. On the product page, you will always find the exact list of included protections.
What's the difference from the Jackets collection?
In Jackets, you'll find items designed for riding, with the declared garment approval. Here you'll find everyday style items: t-shirts, polo shirts, caps, and protective hoodies that fall somewhere in between.
Are there women's items?
Yes, several models are available in a women's version with a dedicated cut. The product page title will always include "Women" when this is the case.
How do they wash?
The instructions are those on the label sewn into the garment. Items with protectors should be washed after removing the protectors, otherwise, they will deform.
