Who it's perfect for

It's an accessory that costs little and is used more than it seems. In summer, it helps keep the neck covered from the sun and filters dust when pulled up over the face under a helmet; in mid-seasons, it acts as a barrier against drafts entering through the collar, which is where the cold first penetrates even with a good jacket. It's one size, so there's nothing to choose, and rolled up, it takes up the space of a pair of socks: it fits under the seat and is there when needed. The manufacturer also recommends it for off-bike activities, sports, and leisure.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size should I get?
None: it's one size. The tube is elastic and adapts to the circumference of the neck, so there's no size to choose or chart to consult. It's the same size for everyone, male or female, which is why this listing does not have the size variant like other garments.

In how many ways can it be worn?
The most common ways for motorcycling are three: around the neck as a neck warmer, pulled up to cover the nose and mouth under the helmet, or on the forehead as a sweatband. Off-bike, the manufacturer recommends it for sports and general leisure.

What is the print of this colorway like?
It's a red and grey geometric pattern on a black background. The two catalog colorways have different prints, not the same design in two shades, which is why they each have a dedicated page with their own photo: so what you see is always what you get.

What fabric is it?
Dane does not publish the composition of this item, and we do not state it to avoid giving you unverified information. What is certain is the customs classification, HS code 61171000, which categorizes the item among knitted clothing accessories. The exact composition can be found on the internal label.

How do I wash it?
By hand or machine wash at low temperatures, without fabric softener and without a dryer. Fabric softener closes the fibers of technical fabrics and reduces their breathability, and a dryer is the quickest way to deform an elastic garment. Always follow the sewn-in internal label.

Is it available in other colors?
Yes: in the Dane catalog, the Summer Tube is available in two prints, this one and Grey (code 107.634.11). Each has its own listing, so the photo you see always matches the print you are buying. You can find the link in the Recommended Products section above.
