The Airoh 6617 peak extension screw kit is the original set of screws used to secure the peak extension on Airoh Terminator Open Vision and Strycker motocross helmets. It comes in a sealed Locatelli S.p.A. package with the code 6617 printed on the label: these screws are longer than the standard ones, essential when mounting the extension, and are the perfect spare part to keep in your gear bag in case a peak screw gets lost.
✓ Key features
- Original Airoh spare part – factory code 6617, sealed Locatelli S.p.A. packaging
- Complete set – all the screws needed to attach the peak extension
- Stable peak again – no vibrations or play at high speeds
- Easy to install with a screwdriver – no special tools or shop visits required
- Low cost – a missing screw is no reason to go without your peak

⚠️ Important notes:
• The kit contains only the screws: helmet, peak, and peak extension are sold separately.
• Peak screws are not interchangeable between Airoh families: each model has its own code.
• Tighten without forcing: the housing is in the shell, and over-tightening can strip the thread.
• If the peak still feels loose after replacing the screws, check the housings and the extension itself.

Who is it for?
This is the ideal part for off-road riders who use a peak extension for extra protection against the sun, mud, and debris, or for those who simply lost a screw while cleaning the helmet or during transport. It costs a fraction of a new peak and restores the original fit to your helmet.

Frequently Asked Questions
❓ Which helmets do these screws fit?
They fit the Airoh Terminator Open Vision, as printed on the kit's original packaging, and the Airoh Strycker, which industry catalogs list as using the same set. If you have a different Airoh model, please write to us: peak screws have different codes for each family.
❓ What is the peak extension for?
It extends the peak to provide better shielding from the sun and mud. Mounting it requires longer screws than the standard ones; these are exactly those.
❓ Is the peak extension included in the kit?
No. This item contains only the mounting screws: the peak, extension, and helmet are separate items.
❓ Can I use this just to replace lost screws?
Yes, that is the most common use. Peak screws are easily lost when washing the helmet or removing the peak at the track; with a missing screw, the peak will vibrate.
❓ Are these original Airoh screws?
Yes: this is the original equipment spare part with factory code 6617 and EAN 8029243278856, in sealed Locatelli S.p.A. packaging.
❓ Do I need a special tool to install them?
No, they can be installed with a regular screwdriver. They should be tightened without force: the threads are in the shell, not in a metal insert.
