In winter, you assemble it closed with the winter chin guard, nose guard, and Stop Wind; in summer, you remove the chin guard, insert the plugs, and it becomes a full-fledged jet helmet—legally, because the double P/J homologation covers both configurations, and the helmet weight drops from 1,340 to 1,070 grams. The parts required to do this are already in the box; they are not accessories you need to buy. Matte black is the finish that looks good on any motorcycle, and the XXL covers 63 cm, the hardest size to find in stock.

Does the chin guard flip up or come off?
It comes off completely. The J110 is not a flip-up: the chin guard is detachable, and you will find the plugs in the box to cover the attachment points, so the helmet remains sleek in the jet version. By removing it, the helmet goes from 1,340 to 1,070 grams.

Can I use it legally without the chin guard?
Yes. It is ECE 22.06 homologated with double P/J homologation: the P covers use when closed, the J when open. The full code and homologation number are printed on the label sewn into the chin strap: that is where they should be read, not on the box or the external sticker.

What else do I find in the box besides the helmet?
