Moon Bike S.r.l. ships domestically and internationally through selected express couriers to ensure fast, tracked, and secure deliveries.
Couriers Used and Services by Geographic Area
- Shipping in Italy: at checkout, customers can choose between BRT (Bartolini) (Standard or Express), Poste Italiane (Express), and DHL Express (Standard or Express).
- Cash on Delivery (Italy only): cash on delivery is available exclusively for shipments within Italy and is handled solely via BRT (Bartolini), with the applicable collection fee clearly displayed at checkout.
- Shipping in the European Union: at checkout, customers can choose between Poste Italiane International and DHL Express (Standard or Express).
- Shipping to Non-EU Countries (subject to customs): shipments to non-EU destinations are carried out via Poste Italiane International (up to 30 kg; for shipments over 30 kg, DHL Express is available).
Order Processing and Delivery Times
Orders are processed within 1 business day (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) from order confirmation and stock availability.
Domestic Shipping (Italy):
- Mainland Italy: 1–2 business days (Standard and Express)
- Sicily and Sardinia: 2–4 business days (Standard and Express)
- Smaller islands: 5–7 business days
- Remote areas: 3–5 business days
International Shipping:
- European Union: 2–5 business days (Standard Poste Italiane / DHL) / 1–3 business days (Express DHL)
- Non-EU Countries and Rest of the World: 4–8 business days (Poste Italiane International) / 3–5 business days (Express DHL where applicable)
Stated delivery times are estimated transit times in business days. For shipments to non-EU countries, delivery times may vary due to customs clearance procedures.
Shipping Costs and Free Shipping Threshold in Italy
Shipping costs are calculated automatically based on total weight, destination zone, and selected courier. The exact cost is always displayed transparently in the cart and at checkout before order confirmation.
For domestic shipments in Italy, Standard BRT shipping is free on orders of €149.99 or more (if cash on delivery is selected, only the €4.50 COD fee applies).
Import Duties and Taxes (Non-EU Countries)
Export formalities and costs from Italy are covered by us and included in the shipping price shown at checkout.
Customs duties, import VAT, and customs clearance fees in the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer, are not included in the product price or shipping cost, and are determined by the customs authorities of the destination country.
The courier will not deliver the parcel until these customs charges are paid by the recipient. If the shipment is refused or customs charges are not paid, the parcel is returned to the sender and all shipping, return, storage, and customs charges billed to the sender will be deducted from the refund.
European countries outside the EU Customs Union—such as Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, the United Kingdom, Iceland, the Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla—as well as the United States, Canada, and the rest of the world, are subject to customs duties. No customs duties apply to shipments within the European Union.
Order Tracking and Delivery
Upon shipment, you will receive a tracking code by email to monitor your delivery in real time on the official courier portals. In case of failed delivery due to an incorrect address or recipient absence beyond the storage period, the goods will be returned to the sender and reshipment costs will be borne by the customer.
Damaged or Non-Conforming Products
In case of transport damage or non-conforming items, please accept the parcel with specific inspection reserve on the courier receipt and contact us within 48 hours of delivery:
