Compatibility
A helmet's compatibility is not model-specific to a motorcycle or scooter: the 11.7 fits any vehicle. Givi specifically recommends it for those who need to store it in a small under-seat compartment, such as the Honda SH.
Who it is perfect for
It is for those who use their scooter in the city every day and want a lightweight helmet to leave in the under-seat storage, in a classic and highly visible glossy white, even in low light conditions. The small sizes, starting from XXS 52, also make it suitable for smaller heads. Those who frequently travel outside the city will be better protected by a full-face or modular helmet.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it fit in the scooter's under-seat compartment?
Givi indicates that the 11.7 is suitable even for smaller under-seat compartments, citing the Honda SH as an example. However, the actual space depends on the specific scooter model and helmet size: if you have any doubts, write to us with your compartment measurements and we will advise you before you complete your order.
What is its homologation?
The 11.7 Solid Color is ECE 22.06 approved as a jet helmet, as reported in the Givi catalog. It is a demi-jet, meaning it protects the head and ear area but leaves the chin area free. It is practical and lightweight for daily city use; for long trips, a full-face or modular helmet is recommended.
Which size should I choose?
Givi uses seven sizes for the 11.7: XXS 52 cm, XS 53, S 55, M 57, L 59, XL 60, and XXL 61. Measure your head circumference one finger above your eyebrows and choose the closest size. If you are between two sizes, write to us with your circumference and we will help you before your order.
Can a dark visor be fitted?
Yes. The helmet comes with an anti-scratch transparent visor, and Givi offers a 75% smoked visor (Z2697FR), an iridium visor (Z2697IR), and silver, blue, green, yellow, and red mirror visors for the 11.7 in their catalog. Dark visors are for bright sunlight: in low light and at night, the transparent one must be used.
Can the interior be removed?
Yes. Givi states that the interior and cheek pads are removable and made of hypoallergenic fabric. They can be detached from the shell for cleaning or replacement, and the complete interior is also available as a Givi spare part in sizes from XS to XXL. This keeps the helmet fresh and clean even with daily city use.
Are spare parts available?
Yes, the 11.7 is in the Givi 2026 catalog along with its spare parts: transparent visor Z2697TR, visor mechanism kit Z2699R, visor locking plates Z2682R, air vent sliders Z2698, and complete interiors Z2694 from size 53 to 61. Before ordering, we will verify with you that the spare part is the correct one.
