The Airoh 05MTFS dark smoke visor is the original replacement lens for Airoh Mathisse and Airoh Mathisse RS modular helmets. It is the dark smoke tint, the darkest in the range: designed for full sun, not for night use. The catalog lists it as one size, with no variations for shell sizes.
✓ Strengths
- Original Airoh spare part – this is catalogue code 05MTFS, not an adapted universal lens
- Full dark smoke – cuts out direct light and asphalt reflections during midday hours
- One size fits all – a single code for Mathisse and Mathisse RS, no risk of choosing the wrong size
- Replacement, not a makeshift solution – restores a helmet with a scratched visor without changing the helmet

⚠️ Important notes: this is not the visor for the Mathisse II. The Mathisse II uses lenses with its own codes, available in four shell sizes: if you have that helmet, this code is not for you. The dark smoke lens is also designed for daytime use in good light: it should not be used at night, in tunnels, or in low visibility.
Who it's perfect for
It's the lens for those who ride with the Mathisse or Mathisse RS, the modular flip-up helmets of the series, in summer and want to return to the original instead of making do with an adapted lens. It is also useful for those with a marked or scratched visor: a damaged lens is more distracting than it seems, especially against the light.

Frequently Asked Questions
❓ Which helmets does this visor fit?
Airoh Mathisse and Mathisse RS helmets. It is code 05MTFS, which the Airoh catalog lists for these two models.
❓ Is it suitable for the Mathisse II?
No. The Mathisse II uses visors with its own codes, available in four shell sizes: code 05MTFS does not cover that helmet.
❓ What size should I choose?
None: code 05MTFS is one size fits all, and the catalog does not specify it by shell size.
❓ Can I use it at night?
No. It is the dark smoke tint, designed for full sun: at night, in tunnels, or in fog, it should be replaced with a clear lens.
❓ Is the Pinlock lens included?
No. The Mathisse Pinlock is a separate spare part, with its own catalog code, and is ordered separately.
❓ Is it an original Airoh or a compatible one?
It is an original Airoh, factory code 05MTFS and EAN 8029243066453: the same lens supplied by the manufacturer as a spare part.
