Frequently Asked Questions

What does 5 SHARP stars mean?
SHARP is the British Department for Transport's helmet safety rating program, which assigns 1 to 5 stars based on impact tests. The Spark 2 earned 5 out of 5 stars, as reported on the SHARP and Airoh websites. It is an independent rating that complements the ECE 22.06 approval.

Is the Pinlock included?
Yes. Airoh specifies that the box includes the Pinlock® 70 MaxVision lens, along with the dual Stop Wind (summer and winter) and the removable nose guard. The visor also has an anti-fog position, which holds it slightly open to allow air circulation without fully raising it.

Does it have a sun visor?
Yes, the Spark 2 features an integrated sun visor. Airoh also lists it in the catalog as a spare part in Dark Smoke and mirrored versions and demonstrates how to mount it in official tutorials for this model. The outer visor has extra-wide vision and is UV and scratch resistant.

What does it weigh and what is it made of?
The shell is made of HRT thermoplastic and is produced in two external sizes: the first for XS, S, and M, the second for L, XL, and XXL. The weight stated by Airoh starts from 1,590 grams, with a tolerance of ±50 g. The ventilation system was developed in a wind tunnel.

What size should I choose?
Measure your head circumference one centimeter above your eyebrows. In the Airoh Spark 2 guide, XS is 53-54 cm, S is 55-56, M is 57-58, L is 59-60, XL is 61-62, and XXL is 63 cm, a single measurement. All six sizes are available in this listing.

Can an intercom be installed?
Yes. The Spark 2 is prepared for Airoh AWC4 and AWC2 intercoms, which are sold separately and not included in the package. The visor can be removed without tools thanks to the ATVR system, making it easy to clean or replace, and the retention system is a micrometric buckle, adjustable in seconds.

Perfect for whom?

The Spark 2 is designed for those who use their motorcycle for road trips, touring, and daily commutes: Pinlock and dual Stop Wind are already included in the box, it has a sun visor for low-sun conditions, and it is intercom-ready. The Lively Rainbow Glossy graphic comes in a multicolored white finish.
