Piaggio 624530 Original Windscreen with Fittings – Liberty S 50 125 200 4T (2006-2008)

The original Piaggio 624530 windshield is the catalog-listed wind protection accessory for the Piaggio Liberty S (Liberty Sport) 4T, supplied complete with mounting hardware. It is made of high-quality, 4 mm thick shockproof and shatterproof methacrylate, and is included in the vehicle's type approval: by installing it, the scooter remains compliant with its certificate, which an aftermarket windshield does not guarantee. It increases protection from wind, rain, and insects for both urban and suburban riding.

Technical Specifications

Vehicle Compatibility

Code 624530 is the accessory from the Liberty S section of the original Piaggio accessory catalog. If your Liberty is from a different generation (iGet from 2015, RST, Delivery), the windshield has a different code: send us the model and year and we will confirm the correct replacement part.

Who is it perfect for

It is the choice for those who use their Liberty every day to go to work and often arrive wet and cold in the winter. A windshield radically changes comfort on mixed routes and stretches at 50-60 km/h, where wind on the chest is the most tiring factor. Compared to a universal windshield, this is the accessory Piaggio designed for this scooter: it attaches exactly where intended, does not vibrate, does not whistle, and above all, it is already included in the vehicle's type approval. It is also the right replacement for those who already have the original windshield and have damaged it: scratched, yellowed, or cracked from an impact while parked.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the mounting hardware included?
Yes. The 624530 is supplied complete with mounting hardware: in the package, you will find everything needed to install it on the manufacturer-provided fixing points.

Do I need to update my registration document after installing it?
No. This windshield is included in the vehicle's type approval, meaning it is among the accessories pre-approved by Piaggio for this scooter. This is one of the tangible benefits of an original accessory compared to a universal one.

What is the difference with the 622365 windshield?
They are two separate items from the same Liberty S section: the 622365 is a 3 mm plate with a rubber profile, while the 624530 is high-quality 4 mm methacrylate. The 4 mm version is more rigid and vibrates less at higher speeds.

Will it fit my 2018 Liberty iGet?
No. The 624530 is the accessory for the Liberty S / Sport generation. Liberty iGet models from 2015 onwards have a windshield with a different code: send us the model, displacement, and year and we will point you to the correct one.

Does the methacrylate scratch easily?
It is a shockproof and shatterproof material, but like all transparent plates, it should be cleaned with mild soap and water and a soft cloth. Avoid dry cloths, alcohol, and aggressive detergents: they are the most common cause of micro-scratches and fogging.

Is it original Piaggio or a compatible version?
It is the original Piaggio accessory, code 624530 from the official accessory catalog. For the same scooter, there are windshields from third-party brands (Isotta, Faco, Fabbri, Biondi): these are different products with different codes, and they are not included in the vehicle's type approval.
