Official Macna size chart, «Mens Jeans» section of the pants size chart, fully reported and also converted to inches; sizes with ✔ are those we sell. ⚠️ Denim numbering (28, 30, 32…) does not correspond to body waist circumference: refer to the measurements in the table, not the number on the label. Waist is measured at the navel, hips at the widest point of the pelvis; if you fall between two sizes, choose the larger one. Macna publishes short inseam from size 34 upwards: for our «32 Short» the measurement is not declared. Macna does not publish the long inseam measurement for men's jeans: «Long» sizes are longer than the regular length, but the value in centimeters is not declared.

What does «Class AA» mean and how does it differ from reinforced jeans?
Class AA is the second highest level of the European standard EN 17092 for protective motorcycle clothing: only AAA for track suits is higher, below are A, B and C. On this model, Macna declares a single-layer Cordura® denim, with the fibers woven together with the denim in a single layer instead of being added as patches only in critical areas.

Are the protectors included in the price?
Yes, all of them. The knee protectors are RISC™ CE level 1 certified and are height-adjustable; the hip protectors are RISC™ FX, flexible, also CE level 1. There is nothing to buy separately.

What is the Backonnect system?
Backonnect is the connection system at the back of the waist, which Macna describes as a zipper. It is used to attach the jeans to a jacket with the same predisposition: Macna presents it as a system to prevent the jacket from riding up during riding and, especially, in case of an accident.

What size should I take?
Sizes follow denim numbering, which does not correspond to body waist circumference: measure yourself and compare with the table above, reported in centimeters and inches, and if you fall between two sizes, take the larger one. «Short» sizes have a shortened inseam of 76 cm (29.9 in) instead of 81 cm (31.9 in); for «Long» sizes, Macna does not publish the measurement.
