Shipping notice: truck drivers' strike in Italy

Since 16 October, truck drivers protesting against high diesel prices have been blocking roads and ports in Southern Italy (Campania, Calabria, Sicily, Puglia, Basilicata), and the protest could spread to the rest of the country. The Kappa KR1156 rear rack is the specific support that allows mounting a MONOKEY® or MONOLOCK® top case on the Honda X-ADV 750 (2017-2020). ⚠️ It can only be mounted in conjunction with the original luggage rack provided as an optional by Honda. It must be combined with the correct plate (Monokey KM5, KM7, KM8A, KM8B, KM9A or KM9B; Monolock KM5M or KM6M), sold separately. Original Kappa spare part (Givi S.p.A. group), equivalent to the Givi SR1156.

Is the original luggage rack required?
Yes, and it is the most important condition: the Kappa catalog indicates that the KR1156 can only be mounted in conjunction with the original luggage rack provided as an optional by Honda. Without it, it cannot be installed.
Is the plate included?
No. It must be combined with a Monokey (KM5, KM7, KM8A, KM8B, KM9A, KM9B) or Monolock (KM5M, KM6M) plate, to be purchased separately.
Is it suitable for the X-ADV from 2021?
This code covers the X-ADV 750 from 2017 to 2020. For subsequent series, please contact us and we will provide the correct code.
Can I use a Givi top case?
Yes: Kappa and Givi share the Monokey and Monolock systems, so the plates and top cases of the two brands are interchangeable. The KR1156 corresponds to the Givi SR1156.
