The Kappa KM8A plate is the universal fitting base made of grey/silver anodized aluminum for top cases and rear cases with the MONOKEY® system: it mounts on KZ monoracks and on some KR Kappa racks that allow for it. Robust and lightweight, it combines the aesthetic appeal of visible aluminum with corrosion resistance. Original Kappa spare part (Givi S.p.A. group, equivalent to Givi M8A).

What is the difference between KM8A and KM8B?
They are the same plate: the KM8A is made of grey/silver anodized aluminum, the KM8B in black. Only the finish changes.
Can I mount the stop light kit on the top case?
No. With the KM8A, it is not possible to mount the stop light kit on the case or the remote opening device.
Is the top case included?
No. The package contains only the KM8A plate with the fixing kit. The Monokey top case must be purchased separately.
Is it suitable for Monolock top cases?
No. The KM8A is a MONOKEY® plate. For Monolock top cases, dedicated plates are required, such as the KM5M.
Is it the same as the Givi M8A?
Yes: Kappa and Givi are the same group, and the M8A is the Givi equivalent of this plate.
