The Kappa 113A is the specific transparent windshield for Piaggio Liberty S 50, 125, and 200 from 2006 to 2011. Is the mounting kit included in the price?
No. The 113A is the transparent screen only. To mount it, you need the Kappa A113A mounting kit, which we sell separately in the same catalog: by ordering them together, they arrive in a single shipment. If you already have the brackets on your Liberty S, the screen is all you need.
What scooter does the 113A mount onto?
The Piaggio Liberty S in 50, 125, and 200 displacements, produced from 2006 to 2011. It is the «S» version of the Liberty, with its own specific shield and handlebar: for Liberty scooters that are not «S» models, the Kappa catalog lists different codes, and this screen will not fit.
Why is it listed as out of production?
Kappa no longer produces the 113A, and the code no longer appears in the official catalog, which today only covers non-«S» Liberty models. What you see available is residual stock from our warehouse: when it runs out, the item can no longer be reordered.
What material is it made of?
It is made of molded transparent plastic, the same material used by Kappa and Givi to produce specific windshields. Clean it with lukewarm water and a soft cloth: alcohol, solvents, and harsh detergents will irreversibly cloud it and may cause it to crack over time.
Does the installation require scooter modifications?
No. The screen attaches to the A113A kit brackets, which in turn use the anchor points already present on the Liberty S: no drilling or fairing modifications are required. The manufacturer's instruction sheet shows the step-by-step sequence.
