The Airoh Helios UP in Matte Grey with Fluorescent Yellow insert (code HEUP81, Airoh reference AI31A13ELIHZC) is an urban jet helmet with an HRT (High Resistant Thermoplastic) shell made in three outer sizes and weighing a stated 1,250 g (±50 g), ECE 22.05 approved. It is equipped with a visor with a locking system, which is UV and scratch-resistant, and an internal retractable sun visor (Sun Screen Visor). The box includes the Custom Kit, which allows it to be used even without the visor. It is Bluetooth-Ready, with removable and washable hypoallergenic interiors and a micrometric retention system.

The Helios uses seven sizes instead of the usual six: between S and L, there are two intermediate steps, M Sport (MS, 57 cm) which is narrower and M Confort (MC, 58 cm) which is more comfortable. We have only XS left in this colorway.

What homologation does it have?
It is ECE 22.05 approved. The code is printed on the label sewn into the chin strap, along with the approval number and production batch: that is where it should be read, not on the box or the external sticker.
Are there any sizes other than XS?
No, for this colorway we only have the XS left, which covers 53-54 cm, and it is the last piece. The series is discontinued and will not be restocked, so other sizes in this grey will not return.
What is the Custom Kit included in the box?
It is the set of covers that Airoh puts in the box: it closes the side attachments and allows you to use the helmet without the long visor, for a modern classic look to pair with goggles. It is not an accessory to be bought separately; it is already there.
Is the intercom included?
No. The helmet is Bluetooth-Ready, meaning the interior already has housings for speakers and cable routing, but the communication system must be purchased separately. Before buying one, check the thickness of the speakers: those that are very deep may cause ear discomfort.
Is the yellow just a detail or a large band?
It is an insert on the upper part of the shell, above the light band with the AIROH logo: it is clearly visible from above and from a three-quarter view, while in profile the helmet remains predominantly matte grey. Airoh calls this colorway "Grey matt".
If I scratch the visor, can I still find it?
Yes. Airoh keeps the visor dedicated to the Helios series in its catalog, plus the replacement sun visor, side plates, and cheek pads. When ordering them, specify Helios: the next generation, the Helyos, uses different codes and they are not interchangeable.
