Frequently asked questions
Which helmet does it fit?
Airoh specifies it for the GP 800 and GP 800 FIM helmets, with code 7431 from the spare parts catalog. It is not indicated for other models, because the shape and attachments vary from helmet to helmet. Check your helmet model before ordering: if in doubt, send us a photo of the label and we will confirm the code.
What is its purpose?
The plates hold the visor on the sides of the helmet and allow it to open and close. When they break or wear out, the visor no longer stays in place. Airoh sells them as a separate replacement part, so they can be replaced without changing the visor or the helmet.
What color is it?
Black, as indicated by Airoh on the spare part sheet. The color does not change the attachment or compatibility: the part mounts the same way on the indicated helmet, in all shell colorways. If you prefer another shade, first check that Airoh provides it for your model.
Is it an original Airoh spare part?
Yes. It is the original Airoh replacement part with code 7431 and EAN 8029243390770, from the Locatelli S.p.A. group spare parts catalog. Moon Bike S.r.l. is an authorized Airoh dealer: it arrives new and packaged in its original box, with an invoice and a 2-year warranty.
What is the crossed-out price?
It is the official Airoh list price, VAT included, for this code. Our selling price is lower because we align it with the Italian retail market, while always providing a new, original spare part, shipped from Italy with an invoice and a 2-year warranty.
Where is it shipped from?
Moon Bike S.r.l. is based in Cercola, in the province of Naples, and ships from Italy with an invoice. The spare part is shipped packaged to protect it from scratches and bending during transport. If you have any doubts about the correct code for your helmet, write to us before ordering and we will answer you.
